Reject!
Many players simply don’t know what to expect when they pick up their racquet(s), so this is an example of what to reject!

This image is poor, but it gives you an idea of the lack of commitment, or understanding, or proficiency of the person that strung the racquet. If this is what they think of your racquet, reject it!
Will the knot come undone by itself? Probably not but this does not represent a quality finished product. Reject it!
The image below is the string bed of the racquet with the Very Bad Knots.

It is difficult to see but the string bed is not uniform, nor are the strings straight. This racquet needs to be rejected!

Hi John,
Good Day!
I’m doing string services at home for friends,
for about 4mos only?✌️
Can share with me what’s the proper knot to be use for Starting,End & bulk not for bigger grommet hole.
If you have any video tutorial from YouTube on how to do it professionally must better.
Pls send the video link?
Thanks
Cris

We’re working on a new video library and we’ll include knots along with an entire host of other techniques you can benefit from using. Be patient-it’s going to take a while to get it all put together but it’s coming
Tim
Thanks Tim
By the way when is the next IART Symposium?
Cris
Cris, I have several videos that are being “edited” (made better) and should post soon. The knots I use don’t have names as far as I know. I would avoid the double half hitch knot. The figure 8 knot is a good starting knot.
John
Thanks John
Looking forward for the videos.
Have a great & blessed day.
