IART first offering for online training free to premium subscribers

2023 promises to bring new and exciting things for all of us. Here at IART, a major portion of 2022 has been focused on moving in a new direction with regard to training. Our groundbreaking method of delivery was to bring people together under one roof for several days, providing group and one-on-one sessions that covered an array of topics. Industry representatives and professional stringers were tapped to lead the training sessions, and a trade show was added. However, Covid-19 has forced us all to rethink our approach, at least for the time being. Not just how it pertains to large in-person gatherings, but in many other aspects of our lives as well.

Will IART ever offer our symposium-style format again? That will be largely determined by the planet’s recovery after suffering through the worst pandemic the world has seen in over 100 years. Covid-19 is still very real, and until that changes, IART will look to other methods of delivery as they pertain to teaching the craft of racquet service.

ONLINE COURSES

Turning to online courses will be the next logical step in our efforts to help people on their journey to being the best racquet technician they can be. In the first quarter of 2023, we will roll out our first course, Basic Stringing 101. This course will be available at no charge to all premium subscribers and a fee-based version will be available to the general public at a later date. There are other courses in development, and information on those offerings will be forthcoming as we get further into 2023.
