Yonex Percept 97D
The Yonex Percept 97D, according to Yonex, has a make-up of High Modulus Graphite / 2G-Namd™ Flex Force / SERVO FILTER and boasts Yonex Isometric technology. This one is a real players frame with a nice dense string pattern of 18×20, a hefty strung weight of 337.8g/11.9oz for plenty of power from the baseline. One impressive stat from our review was an RDC stiffness reading of 58, relatively soft in comparison to many other top frames that come in around 65. That’s quite a difference when considering the overall stiffness of a racquet. This racquet also has a nice torsional stability rating of 15, which ensures against twisting on off-center hits.
Touring pros like Stan Wawrinka, Hubert Hurkacz, and Frances Tiafoe use the Yonex Percept, and if you’re an aggressive player who seeks plenty of control, the 97D’s dense string pattern will certainly make that happen!
