Kimony/Yonex Starting Clamp

I’m not sure about a $250 price tag as its under £200 here in the UK, but in my opinion it’s the best starting clamp I have ever used to hold the top cross, and I use it for every 2-piece string job.

I have one, and it’s fantastic. It holds the string snugly, the lever-action closure is infinitely superior to a spring closure on a standard clamp, and the ability to adjust it for different gauges of string is a major plus. It’s worth every penny.

Matt’s last point is what I feel is the key to the superiority of the clamp. Being able to dial in the pressure you need for a specific string gauge is pretty awesome IMHO.
