From Recycled Tennis Strings to Performance Tennis Shirt
What if old tennis strings could be turned into high-performance apparel?
I recently unboxed and reviewed a unique shirt from LET (formerly Orobor), a company using innovative recycling technology to repurpose discarded tennis strings into sustainable clothing. I previously featured their concept, and now I get to try one of their shirts firsthand, designed for both comfort and performance on the court.

Here’s how to send strings to LET:
- Collect discarded polyester tennis string in a box.
- Once the box is full, go to the LET website HERE and select Send String.
- Fill out the required fields in the form.
- A prepaid UPS shipping label will be generated instantly.
- Print it, attach it to the box, and drop it off at UPS or schedule a pickup. EASY PEASY!
JUNE 23rd UPDATE:
LET will officially release their first apparel on July 21st. The Core V.0 Shirt will be available in three colors: Chalk White, Court Black, and True Navy.
